Our Team
Christian Frederiksen came to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1961 and has been engaged in the public accounting profession since that time. He joined Touche Ross & Co. in 1969, and was elected a partner in 1973, one of the youngest in the firm. He has earned his Series 7and 66 with the NASD. Chris began his own firm, Frederiksen & Co., in 1990 which became one of the largest local firms on the West Coast. After a brief hiatus, Chris decided to return to public accounting and started Frederiksen-Crawford CPAs. Chris lectures and conducts seminars throughout the world. He is well known in professional circles for his seminar, How to Build a Million Dollar Practice, an intensive marketing seminar given to CPAs, lawyers, and other professionals. Chris is the author of several books including Budgeting for Results and Cash Management for Results. Chris was recently named in the 100 Most Influential People in the Accounting Profession by Accounting Today.
Tara L. Crawford has been a practicing CPA for more than 25 years working with CPA firms both in Oregon and in California. Tara's area of specialization is taxation; primarily with individuals, partnerships, professional corporations and wealth management. Within the tax area, her particular expertise is in real estate. Prior to founding Frederiksen-Crawford CPAs, she was associated with Dean Moser & Co., CPAs, a well known Bay Area firm of real estate specialists. In addition to her taxation specialties Tara is has earned her Securities License, Insurance License, holds a Real Estate License, and is passionate about helping clients manage their wealth.
